Darin J. Challacombe, Ph.D., is currently an adjunct professor for Fort Hays State University through their virtual campus. In addition to this faculty position, Darin is involved in improving human capital in a corporate learning environment and as a consultant in the Kansas City, Missouri, area.
His research already has focused on traditional social psychology concepts such as personality (five factor model), nonverbal communication, and embodied cognition; he is also focused on exploring terrorism and other forensic psychology topics. His volunteer work with the Kansas City Center for Inclusion, the only LGBTQIA+ community center in KC, has allowed him to explore research in matters of gender and sexuality.
